Laboratory Technology Program Students Produced Aromatic Scented Soaps

Soaps are carboxylic acid salts obtained as a result of the reaction of oils or fatty acids of vegetable and animal origin with alkali hydroxides (NaOH, KOH, etc.) and are mostly used as cleaners. Our students produced soap with two different methods, hot and cold. They added aromatic oils during the production phase of soaps and obtained soaps with different scents.
