Announcement on Student Amnesty Regulated by Law No. 7417

 

Candidates who want to take advantage of the temporary article 83 added to the Higher Education Law No. 2547 with the Law No. 7417, which came into force after being published in the Official Gazette dated 5 July 2022 and numbered 31887, within four months from the effective date of this article (to the end of working hours on 7 November 2022). until their registration has been deleted or to the Graduate School/Faculty/School or Vocational School Student Affairs for which they have been registered, in person or through a notary public.

            Those who are doing their military service on 05.07.2022 will be able to benefit from the rights specified in this article if they apply to the Institute/Faculty/School or Vocational School, where their records have been deleted, with the application form and necessary documents, within 2 months following their discharge. These candidates are required to document separately that they were doing their military service on the date of publication of the law.

Those who are dismissed from the Amnesty Law for whatever reason, will not be able to benefit from:

Terrorist offense and willful killing offenses (articles 81, 82 and 83),
Torture (articles 94 and 95),
For the crime of torment (article 96),
sexual assault (article 102),
Child sexual abuse (article 103),
Those convicted of the crime of manufacturing and trading in narcotic or stimulant substances (article 188), those whose registration was canceled due to forged documents, those who gave false documents during registration, and those who are guilty of the crimes specified in Article 71 of the Law on Intellectual and Artistic Works No 5846, dated 5/12/1951, and terrorist organizations. or those who have been dismissed due to their membership, affiliation or affiliation with or contact with structures, formations or groups determined by the National Security Council to act against the national security of the State.

High School Diploma (Associate Degree for Vertical Transfer Students)
1 photograph taken within the last six months.
Criminal Record Record (can be obtained via e-government)
Copy of Identity Card
ÖSYS Placement Document (For students who have not registered before, although they have been placed in Associate and Undergraduate programs)
Military discharge certificate for those who are doing their military service
Associate and Undergraduate Application Form
 Documents to be Required from Persons Dismissed While a Graduate Student

Criminal Record Record (can be obtained via e-government)
1 photograph taken within the last six months.
Copy of Identity Card
Diploma (Bachelor, Master for Ph.D.)
Military discharge certificate for those who are doing their military service
