OUR HISTORY

The temporary service building of our School, which is a good example of State-Citizen cooperation, was built as a prefabricated building on an area of ​​672 m2 in Esentepe, opposite the Susurluk Sugar Factory of Susurluk Municipality.

Our school started its activities with Meat Industry and Milk and Products programs in 2000-2001 academic year by taking students with additional quota. In the 2001-2002 academic year, II. Education has been opened With the decision of the General Council of Higher Education dated 13.06.2006, Large and Small Cattle Breeding and Vegetable Fruit Processing Technology Programs have been opened, and students have been admitted to the Large and Small Cattle Breeding Program in the 2009-2010 academic year. With the decision of the Council of Higher Education dated 03.05.2010 and numbered B.30.0.EÖB.B0.00.00.03-04.05-2182-15182, Food Quality Control and Analysis, Laboratory and Veterinary Health Programs were opened in our School and students were admitted in 2011. With the decision of the Higher Education Executive Board dated 06.01.2016, the Mechatronics Program was opened within our School. With the decision of the Higher Education Executive Board dated 03.02.2021, the Food Technology Program and the Laboratory Technology Program were opened, and students were admitted to the Laboratory Technology Program in the 2021-2022 academic year.

In September 2010, education started in our new service building, which has 4 biology-chemistry laboratories with 10 classrooms, 2 computer laboratories with a capacity of 72 people, a canteen, a basement floor with a student and staff cafeteria, and a closed area of ​​4300 m2 on 4 floors.

While Susurluk Vocational School was affiliated to Balıkesir University Rectorate until June 2020, it continues its Educational Activities by being connected to Bandırma Onyedi Eylül University with the decision of the General Assembly of Higher Education dated 25.06.2020.

            Education continues in our school with 330 students and 13 permanent instructors. (2022).

1 School Secretary, 4 Officers, 1 Assistant Services staff, 2 cleaning workers and 4 security guards work in our college.
