Our 3+1 Education Model

Today, the development of a country depends not only on its population or natural resources but also on the qualified, equipped, educated manpower that has a vision. One of the most important problems arising out of the increase in the young population is the problem of unskilled labor in fast-developing countries like Turkey. The fact that young people who are the guarantee of our future are trained in the quality needed by the business world is crucial. Therefore, the role of vocational education, which is a professional organization in the training of qualified manpower, is on the agenda again.

The vocational schools established in order to train the labor force with sufficient knowledge and skills in their fields, which is necessary for particularly industry, trade and service sector constitute the most important element of the vocational and technical education system. Along with vocational training, well-educated manpower will reduce the negative effects of labor supply in labor markets and will contribute significantly to the economy of the country and production of quality goods and services.

 

3+1 Workplace Practice Education Model

Students studying in academic units within Bandırma Onyedi Eylül University Susurluk Vocational School; Since the 2021-2022 academic year, it started to implement the 3+1 education model.

Applied Education is not an “internship”; students take charge and work as an employee in the industry or sector related to the fields of the department/programs, far beyond the internship application (at least 70 working days) for 14 weeks of education. they participate in person. Students who successfully complete their applied education graduate with work experience.

  • The students will start to search for solution methods and gain the ability to reach information quickly by observing the problems encountered in enterprises.
